Favorite Michigan Athlete: Mike Martin. Favorite Pro Player: Retired Balti- more Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis. Other Schools Considered: Central Florida, Michigan State and Boston College. Date Of Official Visit To Michigan: Dec. 13, 2013.  QUOTABLE Brady Hoke's Comments: "Brady is very physical and won the state cham- pionship in wrestling as a junior. He's very good with his hands, a very good technician inside." Tom Lemming of Prep Football Re- port: "I was just down there [in Na- ples]. Michigan took him as a greyshirt, but they didn't realize he was going to have a dominating senior year. He was one of the best players in South- west Florida. He could be the feel-good story of the year, because he turned out to be a bona fide high school star this year. Michigan lucked out." Why Pallante Chose Michigan: "When I actually had a chance to sit down with Coach Hoke and Coach Mattison, and find out the kind of guys they are and what they stand for on the field and off, they really reminded me of a father figure, of my own dad, with their morals and values and how they live their lives. Those are the guys I wanted to be around." Head Coach's Comments: "He really didn't play inside for us a whole lot, he actually played defensive end, but he's going to be perfectly suited to play there for Michigan because he's such a physical kid," Barron Collier head coach Dan Pallante said. "The leverage that you need inside, that's all he did as a heavyweight wrestler where you push and pull. He can punch and lock out anyone. He's just a solid steel block." Pallante was a four-year starter in high school, playing on the offensive line for his first two seasons before moving to defense. PHOTO COURTESY THE PALLANTE FAMILY
