BY TIM SULLIVAN W ith Michigan's 2014 recruiting class in the books, the focus moves to the 2015 group. The Wol- verines have some strong needs (run- ning back and defensive end), and some positions where they would like to add depth. While the recruit- ing picture is always fluid, U-M's biggest targets have already emerged at several key positions. While only a small portion of Michigan's remaining commitments may ultimately come from this list, reeling in a good number of them would represent an excellent best- case type of recruiting class. Given the limited number of scholarships available — Michigan is looking at a second straight year with only about 16 signees — the Wolverines can reach for the stars, at least early in the cycle. Quarterback 2014 Scholarship Players: 4 2015 Needs: 1 Michigan will lose Devin Gardner after the 2014 season, and although Shane Morris appears to be the next man up at quarterback, building quality depth is always a priority. Redshirt junior Russell Bellomy and freshman Wilton Speight are waiting in the wings, but U-M will look to bring in a top signal-caller with the 2015 class.
