Georgia Tech tried to recruit him after his pledge … Enrolled early at NC State. Recruiter of record: Tight ends/fullbacks coach and special teams coordinator Eddie Faulkner. Quotable: "Sometimes you have a mean kid, but he has no technique. Tony just out-techniques people. He uses his footwork and his leverage and gets his hands rolling." — Independence coach Joe Evans. Scouting report: Has a knack for delivering hard hits from his safety position despite lack of ideal size … Has good range in coverage and pro- vides necessary run support. 2014 projection: Boone has a chance to play as a true freshman, especially on special teams. He does it all." — Walled Lake Western head coach Mike Zdebski. Dave Doeren on Bambard: "Kyle is a guy that was at our specialist camp this summer, and he was tremen - dous from an accuracy standpoint. He's very cool-headed, but the thing I liked is he did a lot of other things, as well, on his football team. He's a leader." Scouting report: Athletic for a kicker and reputed to have an explosive leg with improving accuracy … Reportedly averages around 3.9-4.0 seconds hang-time on kickoffs. 2014 projection: Senior Niklas Sade has one more year of eligibility to handle kickoffs and placekicking for NC State.
