Only LSU (nine) and Alabama (eight) had as many or more players chosen in the annual three-day event as Notre Dame. Martin started a school-record 52 consecutive games during the past four years at Notre Dame and became the first offensive lineman in 54 years to win a postseason MVP trophy when he did so in a 29-16 win over Rutgers at the Pinstripe Bowl. Recently, Martin's stock soared and led to projections in the first half of the first round.
