PREP PROFILES In early May, Dallas Bishop Dunne Catholic's three-star wide receiver A.D. Miller added Notre Dame, Mi- ami, Arizona State and Ohio State to his list of 17 Divi- sion I offers, but no favorites have emerged yet for the 2015 prospect. "I can tell you that Notre Dame will end up high on my list," Miller said. "The offer made me feel spe- cial because Notre D a m e r e c r u i t s only special ath- letes." Those athletes include Miller 's teammates Nick Watkins, a corner- back who signed with the Irish in February, and defensive tackle Dar- rion Daniels, who was offered last October. "We talk about Notre Dame ev- ery once in a while," Miller said. "It would be great playing with friends [at the college level]; it's a good feel- ing knowing it's a possibility. But I'm not going to make my decision based off them." The 6-4, 175-pound recruit said he is looking for a program that has an exceptional coaching staff, outstand- ing academics, a family-orientated atmosphere and a passing offense. "Notre Dame is a great place to be. It is a school of great academ- ics and great football," Miller said. "The coaching staff is awesome, and it seems like a big family over there. That's really im- p o r t a n t t o m e . I'm not trying to surround myself w i t h g u y s w h o are doing ignorant things." Miller finished h i s j u n i o r y e a r with 38 catches for 482 yards and 10 touchdowns. He is a rangy target who can catch the ball at its highest point and turn a short route into a big gain. "I'll make something happen just as easily with a screen as I would on a fade," he said. He is also a standout track and field athlete, qualifying for the state meet in the long jump and triple jump. He was unable to compete, however, due to a strained hamstring. He plans on taking an unofficial visit to Notre Dame in June, and also expects to visit Kentucky, California, Miami, Southern Miss and Colorado. He has already taken trips to Arkan- sas in March and to Illinois for its spring game. — Staci Gasser Third Dallas Bishop Dunne Catholic Player Sought By Irish A.D.
