"Although golf is an individual sport, we are building a true team at Michigan, and Kyle made a great connection with our players. I'm looking forward to watching them all compete together." Mueller is already a polished pros‑ pect after working one‑on‑one with Matt Peterson, who is the PGA Head Golf Professional at the University of Georgia Golf Course. ❑ Top Men's Olympic Sports 2014-15 Classes 1. Men's Soccer: When Michigan men's soccer coach Chaka Daley came to Ann Arbor from Providence before the 2012 season, he had big visions of what he wanted to accomplish with the Wolverines. This recruiting class may help him achieve those goals. CollegeSoccerNews.com ranks the Wol- verines' eight-man class No. 2 in the coun- try, behind only national powerhouse UCLA. The website said this is a "recruiting class some would debate is the top class in the country. All the players are fierce competitors and could see action early on. If they stay together, this class has the po- tential to bring a national championship to Ann Arbor before their tenure is over." Along with Ahinga Selemani and Evan Louro, Michigan is bringing in U.S. Na- tional Team members Nathan Kohl and Billy Stevens. Stevens is a defenseman from New Hyde Park, N.Y., and is rated as the No. 40 overall player in the class. Forward William Mellors-Blair, a native of England who spent the last two sea- sons at Georgia State, is another player who could provide an immediate boost. "This incoming group will complement the group we already have," Daley said. "We're certainly excited about it. You have to get it right early, because the season is so short. That's what makes it challenging for us right now. We're looking forward to see how the group comes in. How well they adjust will be huge for us. It's another level, but they all have the experience and pedigree." 2. Men's Gymnastics: After winning three of the last five national champion- ships, including back-to-back titles in 2013 and 2014, the Wolverines are put- ting themselves in position to possibly continue their dynasty. It's a small class with just three signees, but Michigan picked up three of the Men's soccer head coach Chaka Daley landed an eight-man class that was rated No. 2 in the nation by CollegeSoccerNews.com.
