MEN'S BASKETBALL: The Cavaliers claimed the program's first ACC championship since 1976 by
beating Duke 72-63 in the title game. Virginia also captured the ACC regular-season title with
a 16-2 mark and finished the season with a 30-7 overall record, tying for the most victories in
school history (1981-82). UVa also earned a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament, advancing to
the Sweet 16 for the first time since 1995.
