BY ANDREW OWENS Micah Dew-Treadway knew he didn't need to go home and evaluate his options following his June visit to the Notre Dame campus. He had al- ready seen enough. The Bolingbrook, Ill., native made the short trek to South Bend in early June and instantly fell in love with every- thing Notre Dame offered. "My parents had a very, very great experience, and so did I," he said. "We talked it over [before talking to] Coach [Brian] Kelly. He just said they feel I can thrive here, and he'd like to lead me here for four years and help me become the man I want to be. That's pretty much when the decision was made." Rated as the No. 31 strongside de- fensive end nationally and the No. 9 prospect from Illinois by 247Sports, the 6-5, 275-pound Dew-Treadway had fielded offers from Bowling Green, Connecticut, Indiana, Ken- tucky, Maryland, Mississippi State, New Mexico State, Purdue, Syracuse, Virginia, Western Michigan and Wis- consin.
