my school since I was a freshman. We
have a really good relationship. He's
always honest and upfront, which I
like. He always made it seem like he
was going to offer, but never made any
promises. He never said anything that
he didn't back up. That was even more
real when they finally offered at camp."
Although he had some strong offers
on the table, White said that, in the end,
the decision to pledge to Notre Dame
was a "no brainer."
"I grew up watching Notre Dame
play and really liking them a lot,"
White said. "They were always that
one school that I wanted an offer from
that would have been a dream offer for
me. Getting it was so special to me, and
it made this decision pretty easy. I came
up here for camp knowing that if I got
an offer I would probably end up here,
so when I got it I was ready to commit."
White has turned from recruit to re-
cruiter and is hoping to help the Irish
coaching staff land some of the top
players from across the country. He be-
lieves that playing alongside the best
will help the team, but also help him
greatly grow as a player.
"I'm definitely going to help build up
the class," White said. "I want to play
with the best players in the country.
I'm going to hit guys up on Twitter and
whenever I see some guys that Notre
Dame likes. I want this class to be spe-
cial, so I'm going to work hard and try
to get some other big names to join me
at Notre Dame."
During his junior season, White to-
taled 58 tackles, three forced fumbles,
two interceptions and one fumble re-
covery for a touchdown. ✦
