COMMITMENT PROFILE FILM EVALUATION Strengths: Weber has incredible burst in the hole. When he sees an opening develop, he can plant his foot in the ground and run to daylight. He can make a defender miss and has the vision to use the blocks in front of him. He's also able to run over defenders at times. He has worked to improve himself as a receiving threat (though Cass Tech doesn't often need to use him in that fashion), and is also versatile enough to get big yards on special teams. The lefty even throws it on trick plays. Areas of Improvement: Most of the things Weber doesn't get to show on film aren't really his fault. His offensive line at Cass Tech is good enough that he never has to make something out of nothing. He has good-not-great foot quickness, and although he can run players over, he often tries to get around them instead of dishing out punishment and continuing on his way. Michigan Player Comparison: Mike Hart finished as Michigan's leading career rusher after a 2004-07 career that saw him start nearly every game for which he was healthy. He wasn't quite as fast as Weber is, and was more slip- pery behind the line, but otherwise a very similar player. — Analysis From TheWolverine.com
