  INSIDE MICHIGAN ATHLETICS MICHIGAN'S TOP OLYMPIC SPORTS PERFORMERS Men's lacrosse graduate Doug Bell: A 2008 alumnus, Bell played for Team Bermuda in the 2014 FIL World Championships July 10-19. A resident of Bermuda, who also played for the team in 2010, Bell scored 16 goals in in seven games for the country, which finished in 24th place with a 2-5 record. He twice recorded four goals in a contest and had a pair of mark- ers in Bermuda's final game against Mexico. Rowing senior Jessica Eiffert: Competing at the 2014 U23 World Championships July 27, Eiffert won a gold and silver medal for Team USA. Eiffert helped the women's eight capture first place with a time of 6:07.88, crossing three seconds ahead of runner-up Great Britain. She also took silver in the women's pair, clocking 7:15.84. Men's swimming and diving junior Dylan Bosch: The South Africa native won a pair of medals for his home country at the 2014 Commonwealth Games July 24-29. Bosch scored third-place finishes in both the 4x200- meter relay (7:10.36) and 4x100-meter relay (3:19.97). He also placed ninth individually in the 200-meter butterfly and 13th in the 200-meter individual medley; times for the latter two were not included on the official Commonwealth Games Web site. Softball graduate Amanda Chidester: An All-American during her U-M career from 2009-12, Chidester hit .385 with five RBI at the 2014 World Cup of Softball Championships July 8-13, helping to lift Team USA to a gold medal. The Americans went 7-0 during the tournament and will play again Aug. 15-22 in the Women's World Championships held in Haarlem, Netherlands.
