could replicate that effort this year if circumstances fall correctly. He can check opponents' slot receivers, move around strategically and continue to be one of the most opportunistic defenders on the field. 11. Graham Glasgow C Arguably Michigan's best offensive lineman a year ago, the redshirt junior figures to play a significant role up front once again. Although suspended for the Wolverines' opener against Appalachian State, he should be back and supremely motivated to take on Notre Dame and the rest of the Michigan schedule. 12. Chris Wormley DT Michigan needs strength and power up front on defense, and Wormley consistently draws mention as a physical freak that can make it happen. Now healed from a significant knee injury, the redshirt sophomore needs only to gain confidence and experience battling in the trenches, and he should garner plenty of the latter. 13. Derrick Green RB This ranking might turn out high, since Green hasn't won the starting tailback job yet. If he does, though, and asserts himself, he could vault into a top-10 position in the postseason rankings. Certainly, whoever wins the job could get there, and the sophomore's offseason commitment to weight loss and strength gains bode well. 14. Will Hagerup P When last he appeared in a Michigan uniform, Hagerup was considerably younger than the fifth-year senior who takes the field this fall. Suspended all season a year ago, Hagerup brings back into play a cannon of a leg that can change field position, and games, helping both offense and defense. 15. De'Veon Smith RB See all the arguments about potential impact listed for Green. Some think Smith will win the job, and he certainly has the same type of big body, along with ruggedness in how he attacks defenses. He'll play a role for Michigan's of- fense. It may not take long to find out how big that role will be. 16. Amara Darboh WR Darboh's reputation has been built thus far on great practice efforts, and his season-long absence last fall due to a foot injury only built the suspense. If he steps up as a strong, athletic second receiver for the Wolverines, Michigan becomes more dangerous in a number of ways. 17. Kyle Kalis OG This redshirt sophomore possesses the size, the mean streak and now the experience to potentially step forward as a mauling offensive lineman at the Big Ten level. It hasn't been easy, and Kalis learned some lessons the hard way
