Mikulak is a three-time NCAA all-around champion and may become Michigan's first ever three-time Olympian, with plans to compete in the 2016 and 2020 games. Former men's swimmer Tyler Clary: Clary, who swam for the Wolverines from 2008-10, won the 200-meter back- stroke at the Pan Pacific Championships in Australia, Aug. 23, to maintain the U.S. men's unbeaten streak in the event at the meet. Clary also took silver in the 400-meter individual medley and bronze in the 200-meter butterfly. Women's golf sophomore Julia Montgomery: In her debut as a Wolverine, Montgomery led all U-M golfers in the Mary Fossum Invitational, finishing in a tie for 10th place (230) after matching her career best with a pair of 75s in the final two rounds of the weekend. Montgomery's 13 pars were tied for fourth among the 87-player field. Mont- gomery spent her freshman year at Oakland University before transferring to U-M. Women's rowing graduate Felice Mueller: A 2012 alumnus, Mueller rowed in the World Rowing Champion- ships Aug. 24-31 in Amsterdam. Mueller won bronze in the women's quadruple sculls, her third medal in that event in international competition. Mueller will continue to train over the next year and a half with an eye on the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. Women's soccer redshirt freshman Ani Sarkisian: The forward, a transfer from Florida State, received the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week and Freshman of the Week Awards Sept. 15. Sarkisian scored a combined three goals in wins over Minnesota and ninth-ranked and previously undefeated Wisconsin over the weekend. The goal against the Badgers was a game-winner with just one second left in regulation.
