FROM OUR READERS welcome, and would hope the team would be focused on winning the next game. Go Blue! J. Richard Jaconette, M.D. Battle Creek, Mich. Dr. J, many have been scrambling to re-evaluate in light of the 31-0 loss at Notre Dame. Michigan's best bet here is to work toward the Reverse MSU Syndrome, which would involve a huge disappoint- ment early, then steady improvement over the course of the season. ENJOY THE RIDE Dear The Wolverine: Ever since Team 134 lost the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl, Wolverine football fans have had to endure the uncom- fortable, seemingly interminable off- season, waiting with hope that Team 135 would reverse the Michigan pro- gram's fortunes after two disappoint- ing seasons in 2012 and 2013. With the exception of 1964 and 1968, he never won more than about half his games, and rarely beat Ohio State or Michigan State. Wolverine fans watched with delight as Bo Schembechler (1969-89) inherited talent from the 1968 team and immediately initiated a standard of winning almost every game. However, between 1969 and 1975, fans were still left wondering if Bo would ever consistently win the sea- son's final two games against Ohio
