inning is never easy. Not at this level. But having com- petitors such as David Taylor and Ed Ruth on your team made the challenge a little bit more manageable. For the first time in five years, Taylor and Ruth are no longer on Penn State's roster. They'll still be nearby, training freestyle with the Nittany Lion Wrestling Club, but they won't be competing in Rec Hall on Sundays, nor will they be on the mats in St. Louis at this season's national tournament. So Cael Sanderson and his coaching staff have to go to the drawing board and configure their roster into a winning line- up. As of this writing, there were still un- certainties surrounding more than half of Penn State's weight classes. The staff won't gain a clearer picture until fall workouts are complete.
