1 Notre Dame was the last Football Bowl Subdivi- sion team not to permit a rushing touchdown this season, until it gave up its first on a scramble by Syracuse quarterback Terrel Hunt on the first play of the fourth quarter. During the Brian Kelly era (2010- 14), Notre Dame has surrendered only 26 rushing touchdowns. Alabama (22) is the lone team to give up less during that time. 3 Blocked kicks by junior nose guard JARRON JONES in his career, most recently an extra point against Syracuse. He also blocked a point after try in the Temple opener last year and deflected a field goal attempt by BYU last November. 4-0 Record by the Fighting Irish, marking only the third time in the last 21 years Notre Dame won its first four games. It is also the second time in the last three years under head coach Brian Kelly. The other two came in 2002 (10-3 finish) and 2012 (12-1 finish). 5 Turnovers committed by Notre Dame, the most since having the same amount in a 35- 31 loss at Michigan on Sept. 10, 2011. The Irish also had five a week earlier that year in a 23-20 loss to South Florida during an 0-2 start. Notre Dame had only one turnover in the first three games this season. 6 Catches by sophomore wide receiver Corey Robinson in the first half alone, totaling 61 yards — eclipsing his five receptions in the first three game overall for 99 yards. He finished with eight catches for 91 yards (both career highs) and a touchdown. 93.3 Winning percentage by senior quar- terback Everett Golson as the starter now that he is 14-1.
