THE WAITING GAME
Matthew 25:40: "And the King will an-
swer them, 'Truly, I say to you, as you did
it to one of the least of these my brothers,
you did it to me.'"
Are the least of our brothers KeiV-
arae, Ishaq, DaVaris, Kendall and Ei-
lar? But not to worry — we have our
holier than thou thing to protect. Can
you say George O'Leary? Will Yeat-
man? Joseph Fauria? Father John and
his minions may wait until the Ides
of March or the Twelfth of Never to
adjudicate.
Can't imagine worse handling
of this situation: accusation; rush to
judgment; (verdict: guilty until proven
innocent); evidence gathering; fact
finding; deliberation; dithering; trial;
secrecy.
The wheels of justice turn slowly,
but they grind exceedingly fine —
with lots of breast-beating and self-
flagellation.

EQUAL TIME
As a subscriber to Blue and Gold Il-
lustrated, I really enjoy the magazine
and the great coverage of the football
program.
When it comes to Notre Dame bas-
ketball, it is the men's program that
lists prospects and visitations, etc. I
have never seen a prospect list for the
women's program. This surprises me
because I find their team much more
enjoyable to watch. I would love to
know who they are trying to recruit,
how many scholarships allowable can
they fill, their needs, etc.

Mr. DeCillis, we've expanded our cover-
age the past several years and will do so
with recruiting as well.

Elite players such as Brianna Turner continue to
add interest to the recruiting efforts of the Notre
