GAME PREVIEW: FLORIDA STATE BY ANDREW OWENS F lorida State not only won 14 games in 2013, the last of which earned the program a national championship, but it did so in historically convincing fashion. With then-redshirt freshman quarter- back Jameis Winston accumulating 44 total touchdowns to just 10 intercep- tions, the Seminoles won by an average of 39.5 points per game. Only in the BCS National Championship Game — where the Seminoles trailed Auburn 21-3 be- fore winning 34-31 — did an opponent have a chance of winning in the second half. This year, it's been a different story for the undefeated Seminoles, who have quickly learned that repeating is a whole new challenge. CHALLENGED But Still Unbeaten Florida State continues to win every week, just not as easily as it did during a 14-0 season in 2013 Head coach Jimbo Fisher has guided the Seminoles to an ACC-record 22 consecutive victories, which is the longest active win streak in the nation.
