hen Cam McDaniel sits down in the football fa-
cility's auditorium for another round of media
interviews, he looks just like any other player. A
pair of oversized sweatpants complement a T-shirt thrown
on after a quick post-practice shower — but something is
different about the senior captain when compared to his
teammates.
Sure, he's the only one who went viral twice last year —
first for a gauntlet mishap and then because of a dashing
photo snapped mid-rush against USC. That's not the dif-
ference, though.

The difference is there, and then it's
not. If you're not watching closely, you
won't see it. His right hand rests atop
his left hand when he is not gesticulat-
ing. Then the difference is easy to spot
