M ichigan's plan-A prospects across the country have been identified for months, and many of them have held offers for nearly that long. The Michigan coaching staff is hopeful that they'll be able to reel in some of those players to complete the 2015 class. If they can't, though, there are other players waiting in the wings. Bloomfield Hills (Mich.) Brother Rice wide receiver Grant Perry could be the most obvious of these candi- dates. Michigan is likely in the hunt for a second wide receiver in the 2015 class, and realistic options at the po- sition are limited. Perry has visited Ann Arbor several times — including for the Barbecue at The Big House re- cruiting event July 27 and for three of U-M's first five home games — and is hoping an offer comes through. The 6-0, 183-pounder is unranked, but has shown off his skills this fall. Through six games, Perry caught 52 passes for 977 yards and 11 touch- downs — all approaching single- season program records with half of his senior year still to play. The teammate of Michigan quarterback commit Alex Malzone and preferred walk-on commit Jack Dunaway could be a serious option if the Maize and Blue need a receiver later in the recruiting process. To date, all his of- fers have come from Mid-American Conference (MAC) schools.
