UNDER THE DOME Nickname: "Everybody calls me Torii for the most part." Dorm: "Fisher Hall." Major: "Hoping finance." Favorite movie: "'Blue Streak' with Martin Lawrence. I'm old school." Favorite TV show: "Tom and Jerry.'" Song you're listening to right now: "I listen to Outkast and Tupac. Probably Tupac's 'All Eyez on Me.' I listen to that quite often." Role model: "My father [Torii Hunter Sr.]." Best player you've faced: [Notre Dame junior] "KeiVarae [Russell] for sure." What would your last meal be: "A nice, 24-ounce filet mignon steak, garlic mashed po- tatoes, steamed broccoli, steamed carrots and chocolate cake on the side." Biggest surprise when you first arrived at Notre Dame: "Sometimes people are kind of fake in recruiting, but when I got here every- body was pretty genuine. The academic people were genuine. They didn't lie to you when they said it was all on you, you've got to make it hap- pen yourself. That's pretty big time, that they kept their word." Getting To Know … SOPHOMORE WIDE RECEIVER TORII HUNTER JR. ✦ GIMME FIVE Of the 1,230 Notre Dame football games that have been played entering the Northwestern game Nov. 15, the 55-31 loss at Arizona State the week prior marked only the seventh time a Fighting Irish opponent eclipsed the 50-point mark (.0057 percent), and the first in 29 sea- sons. The first two occurred at the turn of the cen- tury, a 54-0 thrashing from Wisconsin in 1900, and then a 58-0 beat-down again from the Badgers in 1904. Those were the days when touchdowns and field goals both counted for five points, although field goals were reduced to four by 1904. Since 1905, here were the other five times a Notre Dame opponent reached the 50-point mark when touchdowns are worth six points and field goals three. Opponent (Year) Score 1. Army (1944) 59-0 2. Purdue (1960) 51-19 3. USC (1974) 55-24 4. Miami (1985) 58-7 5. Arizona State (2014) 55-31 The Purdue game was the only one played at Notre Dame. MOVING?
