2015 football roster.
Entering this Decem-
ber, here is where the
Fighting Irish stood for
2015 with its breakdown
of scholarship players:
• Twenty-one current
verbal commitments for
the 2015 recruiting class.
• Twenty-three fresh-
men (sophomores in
2015) — This includes
quarterback Montgom-
ery VanGorder, who

as a walk-on but was
awarded a scholarship
in the summer.
• Twenty-two sopho-
mores (juniors in 2015)
