JANUARY 2015 ■ 69 ■ BASKETBALL RECRUITING Gottfried and Early traveled to Orlando to watch Blak- eney play Nov. 29 in the Breast Cancer Awareness Clas- sic. Blakeney poured in 47 points in a double-overtime loss to Tavares (Fla.) Liberty Christian Prep. NC State is angling for Blakeney to make his first trip to Raleigh, whether unofficially or officially (or ideally both). "Yes, I'm going to use that last visit," Blakeney told Rivals.com. "It will either be to NC State, North Carolina or Oregon. I will try to take an unofficial visit to those schools as well. I'm going to try to visit them all if I can. "I'm talking to a college almost every day of the week so it's often, Real often." • The Breast Cancer Awareness Classic also gave Gott - fried and Early a chance to watch two elite centers from Florida battle each other Nov. 29. Bartow (Fla.) High junior center Tony Bradley earned an offer from NC State last July, and Rivals.com ranks him No. 42 in the country in the class of 2016. The 6-8, 235-pounder claims 27 scholarship offers. Miami Beach (Fla.) High sophomore center Zach Brown, who is 7-0 and 230 pounds, is ranked No. 5 nationally in the class of 2017. Bradley had 16 points and five rebounds in a 78-64 win, and Brown finished with 17 points, three rebounds and four blocks in 17 foul-plagued minutes. NC State offered Brown following his game against Bradley. The Wolfpack join Kansas, Miami, Virginia and South Carolina in offering Brown. Brown is the third player in the Rivals.com top 25 in the class of 2017 that NC State has offered. The Wolf - pack previously offered wing Brian Bowen of Saginaw (Mich.) Arthur Hill and small forward D.J. Harvey of Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha Catholic. The 6-6, 175-pound Bowen, who is the nephew of NBA player Jason Rich- ardson, is ranked No. 7 in the country, while the 6-5, 180-pound Harvey is No. 18. • Two Chapel Hill, N.C., natives who attend high schools out of state were present for NC State's 68-65 win over South Florida at PNC Arena Nov. 23. Junior point guard Blake Harris and junior power for - ward Sacha Killeya-Jones made unofficial visits to watch the Wolfpack for the first time. The 6-2, 170-pound Harris is the son of former North Carolina and NFL linebacker Bernardo Harris. He started off this school year as a reclassified sophomore at Martinsville (Va.) Carlisle School, but elected to leave and is now attending national power Montverde (Fla.) Academy and has moved back to the class of 2016. Cincinnati, Florida State, Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech have offered Harris. He is expected to play with Boo Williams this upcoming offseason in the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League. The 6-10, 195-pound Killeya-Jones has been able to play for a pair of former ACC players in high school. The Rivals.com No. 114-ranked player attended Wood - berry Forest (Va.) School his first two years, and played for former Wake Forest wing Craig Dawson. He then transferred to Lynchburg (Va.) Virginia Episcopal this fall, which his coached by former Virginia guard Curtis Staples. Killeya-Jones has earned 13 offers, including ones from ACC programs Notre Dame, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest. NC State fans can get watch Harris against Las Vegas Bishop Gorman at 3 p.m. Jan. 19 on ESPNU. Killeya-Jones will play in three games at the HighSchoolOT.com Holi - day Invitational. ■ Content experts, conference presenters, trainers, & leaders.
