of the scout team quarterbacks. No one has more energy … or loves Michigan more than Alex. He'll graduate spring 2015 with a degree in psychology. Swieca: "I've listened to the seniors say the same words for the past three years and thought it was so far away. I thought I'd say it differently, but I'm saying it the same. Thanks Coach Hoke for giving me the opportunity to play the game I love. I always wanted to play since I was a little kid, even though I didn't play high school football. It was a dream come true, and I've done ev- erything I could to always make myself part of the team as much as possible." Cornerback Raymon Taylor Hoke on Taylor: "He earned honorable mention All-Big Ten honors after posting 38 tackles and six pass breakups, and finished his career with 171 tackles, 16 pass breakups, six interceptions and two fumble recoveries. He will graduate this spring with a degree in LS&A [literature, science and the arts]." Taylor: "Thanks Coach [Brady] Hoke, Coach [Greg] Mattison … for everything you have done for me, pushing me every day. Thanks to my brothers on Team 135 for coming to work every day … we always went hard, like a 10-0 team. I appreciate that … I want you to do so great next year because Coach Hoke and his staff, that's all he taught us. "Thanks to my mom for always being there and for me showing me how to treat other people … my dad and uncle for being at every football practice since little league." Kicker Matt Wile Hoke on Wile: "Matt appeared in 52 games as a kicker and a punter and also handled kickoff duties. He made 20 career field goals, 15 this season … he was 3 for 3 in our 18-13 night win over Penn State. He will graduate this spring with a degree in industrial and operations engineering." Wile: "I'd like to thank the coaching staff for supporting me and believing in me when I was a little down at times. [Special teams coach Dan] Ferrigno gave me some of the greatest coaching tips I ever heard. He'd ask me what happened when I missed a kick, I'd tell him, and he'd tell me not to do that. "Thanks to Coach [Brady] Hoke. You always supported me, believed in me, and I'm truly grateful for the last four years. In my career I had my ups and downs, but overall it's been a wonderful experience. I wouldn't trade it for anything." ❑ Cornerback Raymon Taylor thanked the U-M coaches, his teammates and his mom and dad. PHOTO BY PER KJELDSEN
