BY CHRIS BALAS M ichigan interim athletic direc- tor Jim Hackett is working overtime to find a new head coach after dismiss- ing Brady Hoke in early December, and he's in no rush. U-M is courting San Francisco head coach Jim Harbaugh and others, and if what Hoke believes is correct, the next coach will have some talent to work with. There will be no head starts, though, since a 5-7 finish robbed them of bowl practices. "It's disappointing for all of us," Hoke said of missing a bowl game after a 42- 28 loss at Ohio State. "The expectations you have, you haven't met them as a program and a team and this team. Then the other part is you miss out on extra work. Especially with our team, it's useful … we have 50 of the 56 players on the two-deep who are underclassmen." LOOKING AHEAD Michigan Football Will Have Young Talent And Several Concerns In 2015 Shane Morris will have an edge in experi- ence at the quarterback position, but there will be several young players look- ing to grab the starting spot.
