ichigan lost its seventh and
eighth commitments in the 2015
class in the final days of the 2014 sea-
son. Detroit Cass Tech running back
Mike Weber re-opened his recruit-
ment following the conclusion of his
high school season, a 30-15 playoff
loss to Saline High School. Following
Michigan's dismissal of head coach
Brady Hoke, he's unsure of where
the Maize and Blue will figure into
the future of his recruitment.
"It's sad to see such a good person
get fired from something he loves
doing. I hope he bounces back and
finds a home," Weber said of U-M's
change at the head coaching position.
"Coach Hoke was the real reason I
committed, so with him gone it could
be tough [to keep looking at Michi-
gan the same way].
"I'll wait to see whatever coach
they hire brings to the table."
The 5-10, 205-pound Weber is the
No. 8 tailback and No. 71 overall
prospect in the nation according to
Rivals.com, and moved up to the
top slot in the state of Michigan fol-
lowing a senior season in which he
ran for more than 2,000 yards for the
third straight season.
