KYLE BRINDZA MAKES GOOD ON FINAL CHANCE Senior Kyle Brindza's illustrious ca- reer handling kickoffs, field goals and punts appeared to end in disappoint- ing fashion when he made only 3 of 9 field goal opportunities in the final five regular-season games, including missing a 32-yarder late in a three- point loss to Louisville. Fittingly, Notre Dame called upon Brindza one more time in the Mu- sic City Bowl like it has during the highs (a 2012 trip to the BCS National Championship Game) and lows (such as this past November).
