84.6 Percent of college football games won as a head coach by 1996-2000 Notre Dame assistant Urban Meyer, who is 142-26 at Bowling Green (2001-02), Utah (2003-04), Florida (2005-10) and Ohio State (2012-14) and won his third national title this year. The only two major college coaches with at least 10 years experience with a higher percentage are Notre Dame's Knute Rockne (.881) and Frank Leahy (.864). Rockne was 105-12-5 from 1918-30, while Leahy went 20-2 at Boston College in 1939-40 before moving to Notre Dame in 1941-43 and 1946-53 where he was 87-11-9 for a 107-13-9 total. 8,024 More in attendance at this year's Music City Bowl (60,149) between Notre Dame and LSU than last season when Ole Miss played Georgia Tech. Noteworthy is it was the third-highest increase among 39 bowl games. Twenty-one of the bowls had less at- tendance than the previous year and four others were new. Bowl attendance was down four percent overall.
