FAN FORUM was "jumping for joy" at center court as she ran toward her own side of the court. What a thrill it was! It took me a month to calm down. I did not know Ms. Riley's back- ground. Now that I have a little knowl- edge, I am even more impressed. Peo- ple like Ms. Riley are the reasons that I have been a fan and admirer of the University since Dad introduced me to the "idea" of Notre Dame 60 years ago. Bill Glenn Mount Joy, Pa. FROM THE WEBSITE The ultra-active message board on Bluean- dGold.com, now with the Rivals network, has been abuzz this winter with numerous topics, from quarterback debates, to commitment to a running game, to recruiting … There also was conversation about whether wide receiver DaVaris Daniels, sidelined in 2014 because of academics, opting for the NFL is a plus or minus: Boston_Irish_Fan: Not good for Notre Dame. He was our best receiver by far. Tfailor: He definitely would have added a different dimension to our receiving corps. Thankfully, that's one position where we have some depth and young talent. Charlie…rish25: Will Fuller is pretty darn good. I do think DD could have brought some- thing to the group that no one else does with size and physicality. Oldbender: Probably the best for DD and for Notre Dame. When you get into trouble twice for academics there's a message for all concerned. TDH81: Can finally move on and we are loaded at receiver anyway. Jameskroner3: People keep saying the receiving crew is "loaded" but No. 1 I think it's an average/ slightly above average group. No. 2, you can never have enough talented guys. Coloradodave: I am not glad to see him gone. Quality depth cannot be underestimated. But his dad … might be nice to not have him commenting on ND and the administration and everything else — even if he was right at times. BGIUser756: Wish he would have returned, but always worried about Aaron Lynch Part 2. Ysubest: I really think he could be a top 10 WR in the class. Won't get drafted like it, but the kid has all the tools. Just needs to focus and attack the ball more.
