2015 RECRUITING ISSUE
BY ANDREW IVINS
Every night when Orlando (Fla.)
West Orange running back Dexter Wil-
liams lies in bed, he reads the same
four words.
"NFL here I come."
Williams' mother Cheryl said she
can't remember how long the phrase
has been held together by a piece of
tape above his bed, but it doesn't mat-
ter.
It has already served its purpose.
Williams isn't your typical 18-year-
old athlete. He has two five-year goals
in mind. He wants to get an education,
and he wants to position himself to
play in the NFL.
That's why when pen went to pa-
per on National Signing Day, Williams
Dexter Williams took a leap
of
faith With Notre Dame
Williams, Rivals.com's No. 12 running back in the land, was committed to Miami for almost 10 months
before deciding that Notre Dame was the best place for him to accomplish his goals of getting a degree
and playing in the NFL.
