2015 RECRUITING ISSUE Notre Dame did not waver in its recruitment of Adams. "When you go there you definitely feel the atmosphere," Adams said. "You want to be surrounded by guys just like you, guys who have the same dreams, the same goals that you can get stronger and better all around. "I definitely felt like I was at home when I was down there. It felt like you could build a family with those guys. It's a great place to build your future." Perspective has a way of creating such an outlook. ✦ BGI FILM ANALYSIS: JOSH ADAMS Strengths Possesses terrific size … At 6-2, 210 pounds, he fits the mold of a power back … Has above-average speed and a second gear that allows him to pull away from defenders … Long, smooth stride … Clean running style with very little wasted movement … Uses his strength well to shed tacklers … A true stu- dent of the game … Does a great job of understanding the position and picking up the playbook, and will transition well to the college game … Was considered one of the nation's premier running backs prior to the injury during his junior season. Areas For Improvement Needs to continue adding lower-body strength … Frame is outstanding, but needs to fill out, especially in the lower body … Top heavy at this point … Needs to utilize his size and power and run over people, rather than just bouncing it to the outside so much … Needs to become tougher to bring down on first contact.
