2015 RECRUITING ISSUE I think the same thing will happen with Nick." Finally, Domsitz is confidant Notre Dame will treat Coleman well. "I got every indication from Coach [Brian] Kelly that they are really excited to have him," Domsitz noted. "I tell the kids you need to go somewhere where they actually really want you, and they are not taking you simply because they cannot get somebody better. "From the beginning it seemed Notre Dame was genuinely interested in Nick, and he felt that." ✦ BGI FILM ANALYSIS: NICK COLEMAN Strengths A very good athlete … Is a two-way player and makes plays at running back and cornerback … Has above-average speed … Breaks on the ball very well and shows strong instincts … His elusive, shifty running style on offense shows that he has playmaking abilities in the secondary … Willing to hit and is physical with his opponents … Does a good job of finding the ball in the air and uses his hands well … His long arms make up for only being 5-11 to 6-0 tall … His competitive nature and confidence is a major plus. Areas For Improvement Needs to continue working on his footwork in man-to-man coverage … Plays a lot of zone coverage in high school and isn't left on an island very often … That will change at the next level … Overall tackling needs to improve, but that is correctable and will be a quick fix in year one … Tends to take too many changes in man coverage … Peaks into the backfield too often to get a read on the quarterback's eyes … Needs to focus more on locking down the man in front of him.
