"Growing up in Texas, you get that atmosphere," he said. "Not necessar- ily all of Texas, but making it all the way to a state championship in Texas and playing a high level of football in 6A, it's definitely going to bring the atmosphere. Most growing up haven't played in front of 56,000 fans before. "As far as that goes, just playing foot- ball in Texas at such a high level should help any kid. College is a big experi- ence, so if you can somewhat simulate it before you get here, it will help you in the long run."
