2015 RECRUITING ISSUE Tennessee Titans wide receiver Chris Sanders, who played eight seasons in the NFL, and his stepfather is Corey Harris, a 12-year NFL safety who won a Super Bowl ring in Baltimore. His mother played basketball at the University of Michigan, and his god- father is Jamie Foxx, who won the Oscar for Best Actor for his perfor- mance in "Ray." Oh, and the 18 year old already has his own non-profit organization, CJ's Gift Foundation, whose mission is "to purposefully seek out and reach out to families who have been for- gotten, overlooked and left out of opportunities that produce positive change and inspire hope." "Bottom line: a great kid," said Kevin Ronney, Sanders' head coach at Notre Dame High School in Sher- man Oaks, Calif. "Very humble and BGI FILM ANALYSIS: CJ SANDERS Strengths Has major speed — he's a legit 4.4-4.5 player in the 40-yard dash … Not only is he fast, but he's quick and elusive … He has that second gear that turns a short play into a big one … His change of direction is impressive, and he has the wiggle to make people miss in the open field … He's a tough, strong, physical player that prides himself on being a good blocker on the outside … Goes up and attacks the ball at its highest point. Areas For Improvement He's thin and will need to add weight … He plays physical and reckless, but will need to con- tain that in college to avoid an injury due to his current stature … He's a tweener, lacking ideal size, which may have kept some schools from offering … Could be excellent in the slot, while some believe he's better fit to play running back.
