Date Of Official Visit To Michigan: Jan. 30, 2015. QUOTABLE Jim Harbaugh's Comments: "Jon Runyan Jr. is a very focused and re- spectful young man who is humble in nature. His dad, Jon, is a former Michi- gan and All-Big Ten offensive lineman. Jon Sr. and his wife, Loretta, are very proud of him and the decisions he has made on and off the field. His par- ents told me that when he was in fifth grade, he made a goal to attend the prestigious St. Joseph's Prep in Phila- delphia because he wanted to get a great education and set himself up to play college football. He set his mind to his goal before he was a teenager, and today he is achieving it." Tom Lemming Of Prep Football Report: "Jon is much smaller than his dad, but he looks like he's kind of growing into it. He's a technically sound tackle playing for one of the best programs in Pennsylvania. He can play tackle or guard, but the Wolver- ines probably have guard slated for him with his current size." Why Runyan Chose Michigan: "I was born into Michigan, and I knew that I wanted to go there from when I was little. Once I got the offer it was a no-brainer." Head Coach's Comments: "He's come along way, as a kid who came in without a lot of experience," Phila- delphia St. Joseph's Prep coach Gabe Infante said. "He's had plenty of ex- pectations, and has done everything he could to make us proud. He's been a great leader for us."
