QUOTABLE Jim Harbaugh's Comments: "Keith is a humble kid, but he is a winner. Keith is also a strong academic stu- dent, who is as concerned about his off-the-field success in life, just as much as he is with his on-the-field success. He has a very strong family support system from both of his par- ents as well as his grandparents and his aunts and uncles. His family told me, 'The color blue has always been his favorite, and he has had a football in his hand since he was 6 months old.' Keith has never been afraid of hard work and truly loves the game of football." Tom Lemming Of Prep Football Re- port: "The people at Prattville were re- ally recommending Keith Washington as an athlete. He can run, he's got the length, he's got all the tools to be a big-time ballplayer." Why Washington Chose Michigan: "I want to change around a historical powerhouse program and be a part of something special. Coach Harbaugh was a huge part in that. In my opinion he's the best coach out right now. He wants to win, and I do too."
