COACHING CREW IS
COMPLETE
Jim Harbaugh Assembles
A Noteworthy Staff For Battle
BY JOHN BORTON
M
ichigan fans found themselves poring over
a shorter-than-usual list of new Wolverines
on National Signing Day. That will change
in 2016 and beyond, but new head coach Jim
Harbaugh has already accomplished some of his best re-
cruiting.
He's seen the architect of his great offensive lines at San
Diego, Stanford and the San Francisco 49ers leave USC and
join forces with him once again as Michigan's offensive
coordinator. He's pulled his former Stanford assistant D.J.
Durkin out of Florida — where Durkin had been coordi-
nating high-level defenses for the Gators — and made him
Michigan's new defensive coordinator.
