Michigan has won seven straight games in the series. • The Wolverines turned the ball over a season-low three times in the game as a team. They had not posted that low a turnover total since a home win over Michigan State a year ago. • Sickness kept junior guard Spike Albrecht out of the lineup against North- western, snapping his streak of 93 consecutive games played for Michigan. In fact, it marked the first time he's sat out since starting to play organized basket- ball. • Freshman guard Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman set career highs in scoring (nine), rebounds (five) and minutes (25) against the Wildcats. Sophomore guard Derrick Walton Jr. notched a career-high four three-pointers in that contest. • Michigan's 54-50 win at Rutgers Jan. 20 kept the Wolverines a perfect 6-0 versus the Scarlet Knights in the brief all-time series. • Freshman forward Ricky Doyle recorded a career-high three blocks against Rutgers. Doyle's effort spearheaded a five-block effort by the Wolverines, a sea- son high for head coach John Beilein's squad. • Michigan senior forward Max Bielfeldt and redshirt freshman forward Mark Donnal posted eight and seven rebounds, respectively, against the Scarlet Knights. Those totals represented career highs for both players. • Sophomore guard Andrew Dakich tore off the intended redshirt to play four minutes against Rutgers. Dakich was hoping to save a year of eligibility by not playing this season, but offered to contribute, given Michigan's spate of injuries and illnesses. Meanwhile, freshman forward Aubrey Dawkins made the first start of his career in the Rutgers contest. • Michigan's 69-64 overtime loss to Wisconsin at Crisler Center Jan. 24 reduced the Wolverines' lead in that all-time series to 91-68, including 56-22 at home. • ESPN College GameDay broadcast from Crisler Center for the Wisconsin con- test. Michigan has been involved with a GameDay event in each of the past four basketball seasons. • The Wolverines' 58-44 victory over Nebraska Jan. 17 at Crisler Center im-
