MICHIGAN BASKETBALL proved U-M's already commanding lead in the series to 11-2, including 6-0 in games played in Ann Arbor. • Nebraska's 44 points represented a season-low allowed by Michigan. The Wolverines hadn't held a team down defensively to that degree since Wiscon- sin scored 41 in a 2011 contest. The Badgers also scored 18 in the first half, the lowest 20-minute defensive total for Beilein's crew this year. • U-M held Nebraska's Terran Petteway to seven points, 12.6 off his season average at that point. Petteway did not score at all for the opening 24:59 of the game. • Sophomore forward Zak Irvin's double-double (14 points and 12 rebounds) marked the first such by a U-M player since Jordan Morgan scored 15 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in Michigan's victory over Texas in the 2014 NCAA Tournament. • Bielfeldt managed a career-high nine rebounds in the win over Nebraska. Abdur-Rahkman tied a career-high with nine points in a career-best 37 minutes of action. Dakich played a career-high eight minutes, recording his first steal in a game. • U-M's 76-66 overtime loss at Michigan State Feb. 1 dropped the Wolverines' lead in the all-time series to 97-78. It also lowered U-M's mark to 5-2 in overtime contests against the Spartans, including 2-1 in extra-session games played in East Lansing. • Albrecht notched a career-high 18 points in a career-high 37 minutes of action against the Spartans. Abdur-Rahkman also recorded a career-best 18 points, while Bielfeldt matched his career high with nine rebounds. Dakich played a career-high 16 minutes. • Michigan's all-time series lead against Iowa fell to 91-60, following the Wol- verines' 72-54 home loss to the Hawkeyes Feb. 5. The defeat marked the second most lopsided of the Big Ten season for the Wolverines, who lost to Ohio State by 19 Jan. 13 in Columbus. • U-M's 70-67 loss at Indiana Feb. 8 dropped Michigan's all-time series disad- vantage to the Hoosiers to 57-105. The Wolverines are 13-66 in games played in Bloomington. • Abdur-Rahkman and Irvin each logged a career-high three steals versus the Hoosiers. Irvin paced all scorers and matched his career high with 23 points. Abdur-Rahkman recorded a career-high three assists. • Michigan's 64-52 overtime loss at Illinois Feb. 12 snapped the Wolverines' eight-game winning streak against the Illini. U-M split a pair of overtime con- tests with Illinois this season, winning at Crisler Center Dec. 30.
