MEN'S GOLF (3-0 OVERALL) Michigan went 3-1 at the Big Ten Match Play Championships Feb. 15-16, losing 3-2 in the final to Illinois, the No. 1 team in the nation. MEN'S LACROSSE (2-0 OVERALL) Michigan is off to its first 2-0 start in four seasons as a varsity program after beating Bellarmine 16-9 and Detroit 15-6 … Soph- omore Ian King set new program records for goals in a game (six) and points in a game (eight) in the win over the Titans … After its hot start, U-M sat No. 2 nationally in the LaxPower.com power rankings … The Wolverines have one game per week over the next two, hosting Notre Dame Feb. 21 and Canisius Feb. 28. MEN'S SWIMMING AND DIVING (10-0 OVERALL, 6-0 BIG TEN) The nation's No. 7 team will compete at the Big Ten Championships Feb. 25-28 in Iowa City looking to claim its fifth straight conference crown … The Wolverines have not lost a regular-season dual meet since 2010-11, improving to 36-0 over the last four years … Freshman Patrick Ransford boasts the nation's seventh-fastest time in the 1,650-yard freestyle (14:55.17), with senior Richard Funk posting the fifth-fast- est 100-yard breaststroke time (52.36 sec- onds), and junior Dylan Bosch No. 3 in the 200-yard butterfly (1.41.65) and No. 10 in the 200-yard individual medley (1:44.27). MEN'S TENNIS (1-5 OVERALL) Michigan has lost five dual meets in a row after starting off with a 6-1 win over Western Michigan … U-M is in its first season under coach Adam Steinberg … Senior Michael Zhu has the Wolverines' best dual-meet mark with a 2-2 record in singles matches … Overall, the Maize and Blue are 11-20 in singles play during their six dual meets.
