The Wolverine: Your family name is on buildings in Champaign, Ill., and you grew up following the Illini. What's it like playing in the home state against the team you loved? Max Bielfeldt: "Going to the home state is always pretty cool. When I was recruited here [to Michigan], I had scholarship offers here and Illinois … it's always cool to go there where you have friends and family who will be so close. If Illinois wins the game, they're not going to rub it in my face. They're definitely on my side, rooting for me … but I think it was second grade my dad
