2015 RECRUITING ISSUE Michigan has other kicking options available, including 2015 signee An- drew David (who will join the team this summer), but given the level of dedication it took Tice just to end up on the roster, he certainly shouldn't be forgotten. Perhaps more exciting as a pre- ferred walk-on is one of the best players from a local powerhouse. Quarterback Alex Malzone and wide receiver Grant Perry are scholarship players in Michigan's class from Bloomfield Hills (Mich.) Brother Rice, but teammate Jack Dunaway makes it a trio actually making their way from the 2014 Warriors to the 2015 Wolverines. "I grew up watching Michigan games since I was 4 years old. I think my first game I went to I was 5," Du- naway explained. "I've been a huge fan of the program ever since I was little — it was all I knew." The 6-2, 225-pounder was an all- state honorable mention selection and the Detroit News Metro Defen- sive Player of the Year as a senior (despite missing a handful of games due to injury), and is a pass-rushing force off the edge, even if he doesn't have ideal Division I size. He made 20 tackles for loss and 10 sacks in just 11 games during his final go-round at the high school level. Dunaway's father, Craig, was a tight end for the Wolverines from 1979-82, and younger brother Carter is a standout tight end for Brother Rice — and another potential future Wolverine. Time in a college-level strength program could turn him into a true sleeper of the class.
