2015 RECRUITING ISSUE Bush (Concord University), Kent Jas- min, and Demarious Wright were all searching for opportunities to play at the next level — the final decision was news to him just like it was to the rest of the world. "I hadn't spoken to him [at length]," Jackson said. "I was going to, but with so many schools com- ing in, I really never had a strong chance. He shared with me that he really liked it at Michigan. They have a great campus, a beautiful campus, and he liked the school. He has fam- ily up there in the Detroit area, so that was a plus for him." Johnson may be more potential than anything at this point, with a slim 6-5, 225-pound build that will need to be built up in the weight room. However, he put together a strong season (104 tackles and an eye-popping 25 sacks) as a senior, and the production is starting to come right along. The fruits of his hard work will mostly be harvested in Ann Arbor. — Tim Sullivan PERSONAL Shelton Wayne Johnson was born Feb. 17, 1997 … Squats 500 pounds … Cousin Tavarius "T.J."
