MARCH 2015 ■ 27 2015 FOOTBALL RECRUITING ISSUE ■ "When Gallaspy committed and Rose- boro flipped, you started to see a lot of things change," said Farrell. "It gave them a lot of momentum in December and Janu- ary." Hines jumped on board Dec. 19, and Frasier eventually decommitted from Flor- ida State and picked NC State Jan. 24. Farrell pointed out that both Gallaspy and Frasier are bigger backs, and Hines can be a nice complement to what they do. "Hines is going to be a guy that they uti- lize in a lot of different ways," Farrell said. "They used him in the slot at the Semper Fi game, which isn't his forte. He's best out of the backfield, but he is a guy that can line up in the slot. You can run reverses and jet sweeps with him. You can do direct snaps to him. You just let him get the ball in space and let him do his thing." The old saying it isn't how you start but how you finish applied to NC State. "They had a very good class," Farrell said. "The running backs highlight it and are what everyone focuses on. You have three four-star running backs, and one of them will certainly be successful. You aren't going to whiff on all three. They did a good job on the defensive line. Those were areas of need." Roseboro, Gallaspy, Groveland (Fla.) South Lake guard/center T.J. McCoy, Kis- simmee (Fla.) Osceola middle linebacker Riley Nicholson, Pelion (S.C.) High safety Freddie Phillips Jr. and Raleigh Millbrook outside linebacker James Smith-Williams all enrolled for the spring semester. They'll provide added competition during spring practices. Rivals.com regional recruiting analyst Adam Friedman was impressed with the Pack's collection of running backs. "Reggie Gallaspy is a very intriguing four-star prospect," Friedman said. "He's a really tough inside runner, but has some speed to bounce it outside. He is a tough guy, a competitor and never quits on a play. He isn't one to go out of bounds — he'll try to get that last hit in. He can run inside and outside." Frasier has a rare combination of size and speed, making him potentially special. "Johnny Frasier is a big back and down- hill runner," Friedman said. "He has im- pressive straight-line speed for how big he is. He is more explosive than people think going downfield. "He has incredible vision, and that is one of my favorite parts of Frasier's game. After he gets into a college strength and conditioning program, he could play bet- ter than his ranking. "I could see Nyheim Hines getting 10- plus touches a game with special teams included next year. He is ready to step on the field,." Roseboro led a quality group of de- fensive linemen, which included 6-2, 335-pound North Charleston (S.C.) Fort Dorchester defensive tackle Eurndraus Bryant, Olenga, Riley and 6-4, 310-pound Ellenwood (Ga.) Cedar Grove defensive tackle Quentez Johnson. Roseboro was athletic enough to rush for 1,459 yards and 34 touchdowns for Lincolnton High at 6-4 and 283 pounds. "Roseboro has great lower body strength with excellent leverage," Friedman said. "He can take on two or three blockers and reach over them or through them and make the tackle in the backfield. He has incred- ible athleticism for a guy that size." Rivals regional analyst Woody Wom- mack watched Georgia prep products John- son and Riley the last couple of years, and likes the potential of both once they re- shape their bodies. Johnson has weighed as much as 340 pounds, and Riley is still growing into his 6-6, 240-pound frame. "I think Quentez Johnson was a good steal for NC State when they got him and then held on to him," Wommack said. "He's a space-eater in the middle, but he'll probably need some time to work on his conditioning. "I liked Tyrone Riley, and he could have been ranked higher. He is a long, rangy kid and has a huge body. I could even see him ending up at defensive tackle one day." Left tackle McGirt leads the way on the offensive line, and he is joined by Contra Costa (Calif.) Junior College tackle Daris Workman of Greensboro, N.C., Charlotte Christian tackle Philip Walton, McCoy and Wiltz. "I was really impressed with McGirt ■ Class Of 2015 Signees Name Pos. Ht. Wt.
