Lower Dauphin S P O T L I G H T OFFENSE PARIS PALMER The juco transfer has a chance to play a big role this fall at offensive tackle, provided he can add some weight to his 6-foot-7, 278-pound frame. "His movements are really good," James Franklin said, "but he looks like a power forward. He looks like he should be playing for [Patrick] Chambers right now." DEFENSE JORDAN LUCAS Lucas has been a starter at corner- back the past two years, but with the Lions having lost three safeties to graduation, a position switch is in the offing. Said Franklin, "You need to have pretty good depth at safety with the types of things you're asking those guys to do." SPECIAL TEAMS DeANDRE THOMPKINS Franklin has been impressed with Thompkins' performance at wide receiver this spring, but he may have an even bigger impact in the return game. The Lions could use a jolt after finishing seventh in the Big Ten in kickoff returns and 10th in punt returns in 2014.
