WRESTLING
y some accounts, the 2014-15 season
was a reload year for Penn State.
Redshirting two returning All-
Americans, along with a highly touted in-
coming freshman class, which included
three recruits ranked among the top 10 in
the nation, head coach Cael Sanderson
opted to rest some of his top competitors
in the hope of reaping a bigger payo+ next
season.
With some of their best competitors
taking a backseat, the Nittany Lions went
on to *nish sixth at the NCAA tournament.
Not bad by most team's standards, but it
put a halt to Penn State's four-year cham-
pionship run.
Looking ahead to the 2015-16 season,
Sanderson's lineup is poised to be fully
restocked – or reloaded - in order to make
another run at a team trophy at Madison
Square Garden in New York. What follows
are individual breakdowns of the top
wrestlers who took the previous season
