A three-time state champ from Kittan-
ning, Pa., Nolf ;ts the prototypical mold
of the wrestlers Sanderson wants to ;ll
his roster.
"I think he was definitely a little bit
under the radar before his senior year
when we were recruiting him, but we
had a chance to see him in practice and
just see the kind of mentality he has and
confidence he has, and those things are
such a big deal," Sanderson said. "I'm
very pleased with him. I won't say I'm
super surprised. We're definitely very
pleased with the way he's wrestling. He
loves wrestling. He expects to win. It
doesn't matter who he's wrestling. He's
a guy who's going to put people in the
stands, and that's what we'd like to do,
keep that streak of [26 consecutive] sell-
outs rolling.
"I think we have plenty of talent, but
talent is not going to do it. It's more
than that; it's a lifestyle, it's wrestling
every second. That's really what sells
tickets."
