The Athletics Academic Affairs office pro-
vides important resources such as academic
advising, assistive technology equipment, learn-
ing specialists, tutors, writing workshops, men-
toring and a complete study facility to support
and encourage the academic success of every
student-athlete.
Student-athletes continue to realize great suc-
cess in their academic experiences at the Uni-
versity of Virginia. They are leaders in various
programs that support the academic success and
lifelong learning opportunities for all student-
athletes.
Here are a few facts about UVa student-ath-
letes:
◆ 132 student-athlete graduates, including six
graduate students, earned degrees from the Col-
lege of Arts and Sciences, McIntire School of
Commerce, Curry School of Education, School
of Engineering and Applied Sciences and the
Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy.
◆ Malcolm Brogdon (basketball) and Morgan
Brian (soccer) were honored as Virginia's top
male and female student-athletes for the 2014-
15 academic year at the All-Sports Banquet on
April 29.
