demics were one of Menet's main priorities. "Duke's academics are some of the most prestigious in the country, so that was one of the reasons I was so high on them," he said. "At Penn State, they also really pri- oritize that. They really make sure that they set their guys up to be successful when they leave and I really liked that. So that, plus everything else they have to o:er, and them being closer to home, really made me feel comfortable with this decision." Menet wasn't the only o:ensive lineman to join Penn State's Class of 2016 in May, as three-star o:ensive tackle Alex Geller- stedt also verbally committed to Franklin and o:ensive line coach Herb Hand. A 6- 7, 275-pound prospect from Dublin, Ohio, Gellerstedt earned 12 total scholarship of- fers.
