Starts David Amerson CB 35 Emerged as a starter during his true freshman season and then became one of the premier ball hawks in the country, intercepting a single-season ACC-record 13 passes as a sophomore and five more as a junior. Was named first-team All-American by Walter Camp and ESPN, and received the Jack Tatum Award for the nation's top defensive back in 2011. He holds the school record for career picks with 18. Amerson turned pro after the 2012 season and was drafted in the second round by the Washington Redskins, where he started 15 games last year. Torian Box OL 0 Recruited to be an interior lineman, but after redshirting his first year was dismissed from the team. Tyler Brosius QB 0 The anticipated heir-apparent to Mike Glennon at quarter - back completed 8 of 13 passes for 56 yards with a touch- down as a redshirt freshman in 2011, but he left the team in the summer of 2012 to pursue a professional baseball career. Currently, Brosius pitches for the Atlanta Braves' Advanced Class A affiliate, the Carolina Mudcats. Tyson Chandler OT 35 After redshirting his freshman season and playing as a reserve primarily on special teams in 2011, the former high school defensive linemen and four-star prospect became a three-year starter at right tackle. Signed as an undrafted free agent with the Buffalo Bills in May. Tony Creecy RB 20 The former high school receiver and four-star recruit con - verted to running back and finished his career with 324 c arries for 1,265 yards and nine touchdowns, plus caught 75 passes for 428 yards and six scores. He received a mini-camp tryout with the New England Patriots in May. Rob Crisp OT 26 Ballyhooed five-star recruit's career was saddled with injuries, including a dislocated tailbone in the season opener of his junior year and a concussion during his senior season, which sidelined him after two games. Granted a redshirt year, Crisp started all 13 games at left tackle last season and was named honorable mention All-ACC by the league's coaches. Signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Arizona Cardinals. A.J. Ferguson DL 2 Primarily a reserve defensive lineman who played both at end and tackle and finished his career with 28 tackles, including 2.5 for loss and two sacks, and added five quarterback hurries. D.J. Green LB 19 Promising career was sidetracked when ruled ineligible as a junior in 2013 for taking an illegal nutritional supplement. Rebounded to start all 12 games as a senior. Finished his career with 116 tackles, including 8.5 for loss and one sack. Mustafa Greene RB 3 Led NCSU in rushing as a true freshman with 597 yards and four touchdowns despite starting just once, but his career tapered off for off-field reasons. Redshirted in 2011 due to injury, then played just two games before being dismissed a year later. Finished his Wolfpack tenure with 162 rushes for 701 yards and four scores, and 32 receptions for 302 yards and two touchdowns. Matriculated at Winston-Salem State last fall after a two-year hiatus from football, rushing 84 times for 523 yards and six scores, but was held out of the most recent spring practice period for academic reasons.
